CHECKLIST ON FAUNA DIVERSITY GUNUNG HALIMUN SALAK NATIONAL PARK: Cikaniki-Citalahab

The Cikaniki resort is one of the most accessible research stations located in Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (GHSNP). It adjacent with Citalahab village. Research Center for Biology, Indonesian Institute Sciences and other institutions have conducted intensive on fauna diversity GHSNP from this station. Here we formulate a checklist surrounding Station Citalahab, GHNSP various sources, i.e. field work, museum collections (Museum Zoologicum Bogoriense), scientific publications, technical report. study was October 2019 until 2020. latest work 8-10 under framework Jungle Survival Biological Collection Management program. In total, 821 species were recorded Cikaniki-Citalahab areas which comprises 48 Mollusca, five Malacostraca, 523 Insects, 22 Actinopterygii, 63 Amphibia Reptiles, 115 Aves 45 Mammals. contributes 62.1% total 1,323 known GHSNP. Five number assigned as endangered three critical by IUCN. addition, 123 endemic to Java 34 protected Regulation Ministry Environment Forestry Republic Indonesia Number P.106/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/12/2018. are rich biodiversity. Although both close intact human activity, ecotourism, need continuously spreading awareness enforce area conservation inevitable.
